Service Description
A high-performance, evidence-based testing experience designed for high school athletes and sport teams across Niagara. The goal is to provide: a)Baseline fitness and performance metrics b)Sport-specific strength, speed, agility, aerobic capacity, and mobility profiles c)Data-informed training plans for coaches d)A university-level experience using VALD technology, metabolic equipment, and movement analysis tools. Program Structure (½-Day Testing Session – 3.5 Hours) Total Duration: 3.5 hours (Teams >15 split into two sessions or book two half-days) Session Flow 0:00–0:20 – Welcome, Education, Warm-Up Explanation of why each measure matters Dynamic warm-up led by BEAT Hub staff 0:20–1:50 – Rotating Testing Stations (Sport-Specific) 4–5 min per test; 7–10 tests depending on sport VALD ForceDecks, VALD Dynamo, speed timing gates, mobility screens, agility 1:50–2:05 – Break + Hydration 2:05–3:10 – Aerobic Capacity & Movement Analysis Max treadmill or bike aerobic assessment Running gait / movement patterns Core endurance tests 3:10–3:30 – Wrap-Up & Next Steps Explanation of data Training recommendations Report delivery timeline Sport-Specific Testing Batteries ALL ATHLETES (Base Panel) a)Vald Dynamo strength assessments: b)Grip strength c)Isometric mid-thigh pull or squat isometric d)Hip/ankle/shoulder mobility screen e)Aerobic capacity: Vo2max HOCKEY Lower-body power (CMJ) Lateral acceleration test Core endurance assessment (bike Vo2max) SOCCER Sprint 10m Isometric strength for hamstrings Single-leg hop tests Agility BASEBALL Rotational power (medicine ball or force plate surrogate) Shoulder strength (Vald Dynamo external rotation) 10m sprint Mobility: T-spine, hip external rotation BASKETBALL Vertical jump 10m sprint Single-leg power tests RUNNERS (Cross country/track) lactate test (at additional cost) Each athlete receives a BEAT Hub High School Athlete Report Card including: ✔ Results for every test ✔ Normative comparisons for gender & age ✔ Summary of development areas ✔ Suggested training guidelines ✔ Injury-risk flag areas SPRING SESSION: April 30 or May 1, or 2 or 4 2026 Pre-season baseline Conditioning planning for summer LATE SUMMER SESSION: August 29 2026 -90min Readiness-to-perform check (Vo2 + speed + strength re-check) Price: Spring = $195 Fall (prep check) = +$55 Optional: May 4 2026 6pm(a) & 730pm (b) a)Coach PD Session 90min (how to use data): $65 b)Parent Education Night 1h (nutrition + training): $50
